What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website’s server places in the browser of your computer or mobile device when you visit the website. The cookie contains a unique code that allows your browser to be recognised during the visit (a ‘session’ cookie) or on later visits (a ‘persistent’ cookie). Cookies can be placed by the server of the website you visit or by partners that this website works with. A website’s server can only read the cookies it has placed itself; it has no access to other information on your computer or mobile device. Cookies are stored in your browser’s folder. A cookie usually contains the name of the server that placed it, an expiry date and a unique numeric code. Cookies generally make the interaction between visitor and website easier and faster and help the visitor to navigate between the different parts of a website. Cookies can also be used to make the content or advertising on a website more relevant to the visitor and tailored to personal tastes and needs.

We do not use cookies to identify you personally or to store personal data without your knowledge. If you want to limit, block or delete cookies on your computer or mobile device, you can do so in your browser settings; see your browser’s HELP function for instructions.
